Chateau fort de Bellecombe

In the small hamlet of Bellecombe (Alt.700m) located not far from Chapareillan is a chateau fort believed built at the end of the 10th century, built in a moat and bailey fashion, it would be destroyed by royal order in 1572 (or there abouts), impressive views of which on a clear day you can see Mont Blanc in the distance, it’s still possible to make out the towers that once stood here, however i find it a little strange to find a graveyard in the bailey area, but more strange to find random smashed discarded headstones.
