Ancien Abbaye de Cailloux Blancs

Could this be all that remains of the woman’s monastery dating dating back to the XIIth century it is noted as being dismantled somewhere in the XV/XVIth century and its stone used elsewhere (for more details see the Eglise de Biennac)

This women’s monastery was in the foret de Rochechouart, 200 m south of Villeneuve, in a very wild place called Cailloux Blancs meaning White Pebbles, (Albis Petris) hence its name. (it is also possible it was called the Monastère d’Aubepeyre but am yet to confirm this.
