Cucugnan

Cucuniano first mentioned in texts in the year 951, famous for the Chateau de Queribus, it itself also has a fruitful history, from the Xth century there is believed to be a castle here, by the XVth century Cucugnan is destroyed.

During the XVIth century the small village is re-established but further uphill, The Moulin d’Omer, is mentioned in 1692 and survived the french revolution but in 1838 it was in ruin, restored in 2003, its roof is movable as to catch the maximum amount of wind available.
