Eglise Saint-Pierre de Cazeaux

The Eglise Saint-Pierre de Cazeaux in the commune of Laplume is located on a calcareous spur dominating the surrounding area, its territory presents the aspect of the areas of slopes of the south of the Garonne, forming a relief slightly broken with the round hills. Of the four churches of Laplume, The Eglise de Saint-Pierre de Cazeaux, classified historic building, was the parish church and it dates from the XIIIth and XIVth centuries but certain parts date older from the XIth and XIIth centuries.

And since one evening in the winter of 1888, a legend tells of a man who leave his tomb each evening to protect the other dead, It is the ghost of Cazeaux? The church closed in 1888, after the roof was destroyed by fire.
